They're built to regulation dimensions. Some leagues and events require specific approved boards, so check your organization's rules before buying for official play.
Why are tournament boards heavier?
The thicker top and extra bracing add weight. That weight is what keeps the boards stable and reduces bounce.
Do I need stabilizers?
